General rules for the site

• No retaining of fish. NO night retaining for morning shots or loss of deposit if caught and asked to leave
• The catches must be released immediately, no sacking or retaining
• All handling of the fish between the lake and the mat must be done with the weigh bag and not in the arms on release
• Kneeling only for photos. Please and make sure everything is wet prior to fish leaving the water for weighing
• Captor only to have photo taken preferably in the water if safe to do so
• We provide boats and a life jacket for your use to find and bait spots and bait boats are welcome. There are 2 boats on site for anglers use and bait boats are permitted. No outside boats to be brought in. Please bring your own electric outboards and batteries
• All slings, nets and solar tackle mats supplied. No other wet material allowed on site for bio security
• A group £200 deposit will be taken for the use of cabin, nets, mats and slings must be cleaned, together and returned on departure.
• Barbless hooks only mandatory or completely crushed micro-barbs by pliers are also accepted). Maximum size 2.
• Braided line, leadcore or braided unleaded leaders are banned
• Minimum 15lb line / maximum 0.40 also
• Korda safe zone/Gemini type leaders are OK. Ideally with helisafe end or cut back lead clips.
• No ‘naked’ style chods/helicopter setups, tubing must be used to protect fish.
• No visitors to the site
• Check out time is by 11.30am Saturday and arrival time is 15.00 Saturday
• Dogs are allowed. Please clean up any mess
• Life jackets must be worn if using the boats
• BOATS MUST BE LEFT CLEAN AFTER USE
• It is mandatory to have and use a special fish disinfectant, that has to be used on the fish hooks and any wounds
• It is strictly forbidden to mark or mutilate the fish
• Each fisherman has to stay in the immediate vicinity of the rods. No unattended rods
• The management has the right to exclude from the site, and without refund, in case of drunkenness of a fisherman or the consumption of drugs
• It is strictly forbidden to deficate in the woods or lakeside area. The site has composting PUBLIC toilets
• It is strictly forbidden to leave cigarette butts in swims
• Recycling is an easy. This is why we have put at your disposal several containers (glass, plastic and household waste) to make it easier for you
• On site the mobile home is equipped with an individual septic tank and composting toilets for the “BIVVY” posts to allow them to function properly. It is strictly forbidden to flush the following products: Bleach, Solvents, Antibiotics, Feminine hygiene products
• It is strictly forbidden to fish on the dam
• Fishing is strictly practised as NO-KILL
• Fishing with lures and livebait is STRICTLY forbidden
• Remote controlled boats are allowed
• The use of the boat is only allowed by the fisherman
• It is mandatory to wear a life jacket when on the water
• 3 rods per fisherman
• Safe lead release only. If lead clips used please cut back so easy drop off. In- line leads also need to drop off
• No nuts or any particle to be used. Just frozen/tinned sweetcorn.
• No self hooking devices

Please Note

• Whilst no one like rules they are in place to ensure your holiday is as good for the next group as it was for you
• If you do break rules the lake owner may cancel your holiday and your deposit will not be returned
• A security deposit may be required on SOME of our venues, this will be taken by us to avoid you taking additional cash or in-case you need to leave early, convenient for everyone
• 2025 onwards – no sleeping in the cabin.
• This will be refunded in full subject to deductions for any breakages or extra cleaning costs incurred if the accommodation or fishing areas is deemed dirty / uncleaned or left in a poor state
• All our venues are private property, lake owners businesses please respect the site as it were you own and leave it as you found it. Thank you.
