Puyregonde is a 5.4 acre lake suitable for a maximum of 3-4 anglers situated in an extremely quiet rural setting. It is around 60/80yds wide and has several fishing points along its bank which make it great for far margin fishing and walking around to the far side to bait up. There is also a boat on site for your use and bait boats are permitted.

There are many carp to low sixty’s including a sixty plus common. The average is a high 37-38lb. There is a permanent shelter at both ends for your comfort, both provided with unhooking mats, nets and slings.

There is also a lakeside fisherman’s cabin which offers very good services for two fishermen and two non-anglers. The cabin is spacious and equipped with a kitchen, terrace, gas barbecue, TV, shower, one double bedroom and a comfortable convertible sofa bed.

For bigger groups we have two gites classified as furnished accommodation, “Rosiers and Magnolias” in a completely renovated detached house with a covered swimming pool heated from May to September. The gites are equipped with a kitchen, terrace, gas barbecue, playground (boulodrome, table football, swing), TV, parking and free wifi.

The farmhouse (suitable for up to six people) includes two furnished lodgings classified as 3* for groups of four and two people independently. The property is set in 10 hectares with many trees and plants of varied and colourful species.

The venue is packed of beautiful amenities and impeccable services within a preserved rural environment, perfect for a calm and enchanting stay. The bonus of the property is undoubtedly its large swimming pool, play area along with the magnificent lakes. There is also an easy fishing 1 acre pool on-site for good sport on any method, heavily stocked with carp to 30lbs.

We are based 35 minutes South West of Limoges about 6/6.5 hrs from Caen and 7.5 hrs from Calais depending on the route you travel. Only 40 minutes off the main A20 FREE auto-route. Directions will be sent on booking confirmation.

Arrival times are 12.00am (midday) on Saturday. Off lake by 10.00am. Local shops are 15 minutes away.
