Ultimate Beynac

A lovely wild lake of 12 acres set in the forest (so it is very quiet and immersed in nature) with surrounding private grounds of 100 acres. There is a basic lakeside cabin present which has a shower, kitchen, toilet and a double bed if you are visiting with non-fishing partners. There is also a BBQ area that overlooks the middle area of the lake. The venue is set up for 4 anglers (although 5 is possible with a small supplement if you wish).

There is an amazing stock of 400 carp with a quarter of these 40 lbs and over. It is a lake to quite possibly break your PB many times as the lake boasts 10 carp over 60lbs to 78lb. The bigger carp are mainly character mirrors with commons going to 62lb. There are also no bream or catfish present.

Lake depths vary from 3ft to 12ft. The bottom is mainly gravel/sandy deposits with silt and clay. There are marginal reeds and lots of wild overhanging trees to fish to as features. The fish show a lot so will give themselves away easily. The fishing is not hard because the exceptional stock is never too far from you.

We provide boats and a life jacket for your use to find and bait spots and bait boats are welcome. There are 2 boats on site for anglers use and bait boats are permitted. No outside boats to be brought in. Please bring your own electric outboards and batteries. All slings, nets and solar tackle mats supplied. No other wet material allowed on site for bio security.

The owners take pride and passion in this unique venue, please respect the site and facilities. There is a €50 cleaning charge for the cabin and a deposit for nets, mats, slings, cabin etc. which is £200. We take this on the final payment and refund when you leave. This enables you to leave early Saturday if need be. Please note that the cabin, lake and boats should be as clean as you found them when you vacate. All mats must be returned to cabin, cleaned and together.

We are based 35 minutes South West of Limoges about 6/6.5 hrs from Caen and 7.5 hrs from Calais depending on the route you travel. Only 40 minutes off the main A20 FREE auto-route. Directions will be sent on booking confirmation.

Arrival times are 12.00am (midday) on Saturday. Off lake by 10.00am. Local shops are 15 minutes away.
