Our exclusive lake provides a distinctive fishing experience from a central island, easily reached via a wooden footbridge, accommodating up to three anglers at a time. On the island, you’ll find two swims — a double and a single — plus an additional daytime-only swim located on the mainland.
All swims are set on hard-standing bases and connected by a gravel footpath to the facilities cabin, ensuring you stay clean and mud-free, whatever the weather brings.
Fish welfare and the natural environment are at the heart of everything we do. Controlled weed growth is encouraged in the lake, providing oxygen, natural food, and sanctuary for the carp. The weed supports an abundance of aquatic life, which in turn promotes healthy growth and thriving fish stocks. Landing one of Periwinkle’s big carp requires skill, patience, and a thoughtful approach to the water’s varied features.
