Etang de Maubrant

A beautiful 35 acre lake situated in a lovely rural location near the village of Lizières in central France. The natural, wild setting of this pond will certainly please nature lovers whilst they enjoy the challenge of outwitting the huge fish that inhabit the water.

With a stock of approximately 220 carp this water can be testing and each fish is well deserved but the rewards are there for the taking with multiple 30kg+ carp and grassies.

Fishing is carried out from the bank via 9 large swims with plenty of water in each. There are composting toilets around the lake.

We are taking weekly reservations on the owner’s behalf for English bookings. Prices are £1300 a week on a drive and survive basis. Sunday to Sunday for up to 8 anglers.

As of November boats allowed.
