Camalo Carping

Camelo was the first lake opened under the NautiCarpe brand owned by Guillaume, a well-respected fish farmer in central France.

A lovely 13 acre established, well-shaped venue in central France that offers the chance to catch one of 3 x 70 lb fish that reside in the lake. There are approximately 250 carp including a huge head of 40lb plus fish like most of our venues, including 25 over 50lbs.

The lake has various depths that offer seasonal fishing with shallow 2-3ft bays and deeper 9-10ft main lake areas so the carp can be caught anywhere.

The bottom is made up of mainly sand and gravel deposits that can be found easily with a marker rod or additionally hire a boat for spot finding and baiting up which are available on site. Finding the smaller silty areas where the bloodworm are located can be deadly.

Camalo is a very popular venue with 2 x luxury VIP swim/cabins, VIP Le Kube (poste 2) & La Cabine (poste 3) or bivvy swims. All swims can have electric or you can charge your equipment in the cabin. There is a shower block with hot and cold running water, toilets and power points.

Food package can be arranged prior if you choose breakfast and evening meals. Shops are also local and within 10 minutes you have all you need.

To access the lake, please go directly to the reception of the Furet at the arrival time (2pm) and we will take you directly to the Camalo.
