Suggested Tackle

  • Rod pods are advisable as many areas are stony or have platforms. No screwing into platforms, retaining clips are on the platforms so bring a bungie strap if you are concerned for your pod
  • Posts 1&3 are suitable for normal bank sticks
  • Chest waders are advisable
  • Bring a spare net as double takes are very common
  • Carp care treatment
  • A prodding stick is helpful, the sandy/silty areas very easy to find (the silt is not deep)
  • Fixed marker poles if you choose to bait a spot heavily and use the boat
  • Wear a life jacket as the use of the boat is 100% your responsibility
  • Bring back leads as the fish tend to kite
  • Plenty of bin liners for all of your rubbish. All you bring must be taken off site with you. Everything as per the UK is recycled in France. You will find glass and plastic recycling in local communes at bottle bank zones.
